Each partner brings unique expertise, ensuring a comprehensive approach to teaching ethical and applied AI. Below, we introduce the key partners of the AI Leaders project and describe their role and relevance in shaping the future of AI education.
The Faculty of Management (FoM) at the University of Lodz (UoL)
About UoL
The University of Lodz is one of Poland’s leading higher education institutions, with a strong focus on social responsibility and business management. The Faculty of Management at UoL is particularly known for its expertise in Business Process Automation (BPA), aligning closely with the AI Leaders project’s focus on integrating AI into business education.
Role in AI Leaders
As the project initiator and leader of Work Package 1 (Project Management), UoL oversees the implementation and administration of the AI Leaders project. Their focus is on ensuring that all partners are engaged and that project milestones are met. UoL’s strong foundation in business process automation and social responsibility provides critical expertise for integrating ethical AI into business education.
UPF Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM)
About UPF-BSM
The UPF Barcelona School of Management is part of Pompeu Fabra University, one of the top universities in Spain. Role in AI Leaders
UPF-BSM leads Work Package 3 (Teaching and Learning: OER Development). Their extensive experience in management education will help develop Open Educational Resources (OERs) that focus on AI ethics and its application in business. Partnering with the European E-learning Institute (EUEI), they will create comprehensive curricula that address both the practical and ethical implications of AI, preparing students for leadership roles in a rapidly changing technological landscape.

ACEEU leads Work Package 5 (Share and Sustain), focusing on dissemination and sustainability. Feltech Software Innovations Ltd

Feltech Software Innovations Ltd is an ICT and data specialist company based in Ireland. They focus on software customisation, data analytics, e-learning, and project management. Feltech’s experience in building innovative tech solutions makes them a key player in bridging academic theory with real-world applications.
Role in AI Leaders
Feltech is a co-leader of Work Package 2 (Responsible AI Case Studies & Introductory Toolkit). They bring technical expertise in AI implementation, working alongside EUEI to develop responsible AI case studies and an educational toolkit. Feltech also plays a supporting role in Work Package 5, helping to market the project’s results and ensure its sustainability through targeted outreach.
European E-learning Institute (EUEI)

Role in AI Leaders
EUEI spearheads Work Package 2 (Responsible AI Case Studies & Introductory Toolkit), focusing on developing educational resources that integrate responsible AI practices into the curriculum. They also support Work Package 3, providing ethical guidance in the development of OERs. EUEI’s involvement ensures that the educational materials produced align with European ethical standards, offering students and educators practical tools to navigate the ethical challenges posed by AI.
The University of Porto (U.PORTO)
About U.PORTO
The University of Porto is one of Portugal’s top universities, known for its strong focus on business management and innovation. U.PORTO excels in creating interdisciplinary learning environments that foster problem-solving and critical thinking, which are essential skills for future business leaders dealing with AI.
Role in AI Leaders
U.PORTO leads Work Package 4 (AI in Business Management Hackathons), where they will organise hackathons aimed at engaging students in interdisciplinary problem-solving. Each of the three Higher Education Institutions (UoL, U.PORTO, and UPF-BSM) will run a hackathon, supported by EUEI’s Hackathon Guide. U.PORTO’s leadership in this work package ensures that students gain hands-on experience in applying AI to business management while considering its ethical implications.
